Q:Hello ! Can I buy insurance for 2-3 months initially and then extend it based on my parent's duration of stay . We want to ensure there won't be any gaps, and will the same deductible apply ( we will extend before expiry). If I buy for 6 months , and they stay only 2-3 months can i get refund for the remaining months. I would prefer to extend - please confirm.

A:
Most plans are both extendable and refundable. We recommend ab extensions due to cancelation fees being generally greater,

Q:I hear not to include the cost of fully refundable expenses, a major hotel. However hotels, as well as Airbnbs, rental cars, etc say you have to cancel within 24, 48 or 72 hours. If something happens while i am on my trip and i am not able to meet those cancellation periods, then my "fully refundable" expenses would be "fully refundable", would they So i am thinking beyond just what is prepaid, i should consider full airfare, and hotels, Bnbs, and rental cars. Does that make sense

A:
You can insure every pre-paid non refundable trip cost incurred in trip cancelation insurance. The expense can be added as long as you can show that you paid for the expense ahead of time and the expense does not provide a refund.

Q:I need to see a neurologist but i don t know which one is in your network

A:
If you already have a plan with us you can call the phone number that is on the ID card to find a provider. If you have yet to purchase a plan it is not a covered expense if the medical evidence shows you were already sick before purchasing the plan. since you already know about the condition before purchase it is already not a covered expense under any plan we can provide for you.

Q:Hello,I'm trying to locate insurance for my daughter who is travelling to USA from end Jan to end of Feb. She's 19, from Australia and rides and competes showjumping in Australia. She has an opportunity to compete at the Desert Fall show jumping competition for a 1 or 2 rides. I'm finding it hard to get travel insurance that would cover her for this. She is an amateur and has never competed professionally. Her only preexisting medical condition is ADHD - she is not medicated and has no concerns with it. Any advice would be great.

A:
Unfortunately we do not have a plan that can cover for organized amateur showjumping.

Q:My son is from Canada and will be attending Utah tech in the fall as an F1 student. We needed to purchase medical evacuation and returns of mortal remains. I was looking at the Atlas policy on your site and was wondering if it could be used for an F1 student. Also I was wondering is there were any restrictions for pre-existing conditions, i looked at the policy and couldn't find anything as a restriction.

A:
Atlas med-evac is available to all types of visas. it unfortunatly does not cover pre-existing conditions.
